As many of you know, we have been in the Panama City Marina since the end of August.  After some research, we decided that it would be a great halfway spot for our trip to the Bahamas near the end of November.  We knew if we needed to get out due to a hurricane that we would have options.  We have been here working on projects since we arrived.  Then, came Hurricane Michael.  This post is about us Running From Michael: A Race to Get Out of His Path.  I hope you enjoy the video.  I did have issues with the wind because I wasn’t able to use my new microphone on this trip.

In the days that followed Hurricane Michael, we found our marina was struck a devasting blow.  She is mostly devastated and we will not be able to return prior to leaving to the Bahamas.  We are keeping everyone in our prayers knowing they have a long road ahead of them.  We hope to drive back into the area in the coming weeks.  There are some things to finalize and packages we need to pick up.  We would also like to check on people.  With that said, it looks like we will be here till at least the middle of November.
